Named for the gold her parents were seeking along the Feather River in northern California, Nugget is a valuable addition to our staff at MusicTogether. Along with her love of music, comes an even greater love for children!

Introduced to MusicTogether by her grandson, her training in music education at Pepperdine University has come in handy. She immediately recognized MusicTogether’s value in supporting the goals of family bonding, self-expression, creativity, quality of life and FUN!

Carol Boot-Storie began dancing at age three and soon began playing piano and then percussion in bands and orchestras. This was the early journey of her lifelong love of music and dance. She began taking Music Together with her young son and soon realized how much Music Together contributed to his development and their joy and development as a family.

She thoroughly enjoys sharing in children’s musical growth through playful learning and family participation.

Carol truly embraces the joy of making music together with a mantra of “What could be more fun that singing and dancing with children?”
